Fragole Piccanti
Ingredients: 1 pint of strawberries, 1 3.5 oz. bar of hot pepper flavored chocolate (al peperoncino), 1 tablespoon butter
Clean and hull the strawberries and dry thoroughly. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and stir in the butter until glossy. Skewer the strawberries individually on wood or bamboo skewers. Dip each strawberry separately in the chocolate to coat and allow excess to drip back into pan. Stick the skewers upright in a tall cup so the chocolate covered strawberries can cool without touching.
